Dr. Ruckman was born in Houston, TX and has been a practicing
ophthalmologist for twenty-four years. He has practiced in
Lufkin, TX since 1978 and has substantial experience in ophthalmic
surgery including the most modern techniques of refractive
and cataract surgeries. Under Dr. Ruckman's leadership, The
Center For Sight has grown into a successful medical practice
with offices in both the Lufkin and Livingston communities
serving the residents of East Texas.
Dr. Ruckman has authored numerous articles and papers and
is a nationally recognized instructor having taught on a number
of ophthalmic topics at the American Academy of Ophthalmology
and at other meetings. Dr. Ruckman is Board Certified by the
American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American
College of Surgeons and the American College of Eye Surgeons.
Dr. Ruckman is licensed to practice medicine in Texas and
Louisiana.
