Dr. Rushing was born in Lufkin, TX and was raised in nearby Broaddus, TX. She began practicing optometry upon graduating from University of Houston College of Optometry in 2002. Dr. Rushing enjoys working with patients of all ages, and one of her primary interests is fitting contact lenses. Dr. Rushing is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
